my thoughts on religionWhat is religion? Ask anyone, a clergyman, random worshipper, some guy on the street, and you will have varying answers. Really though, it usually ends up being one of these: An explanation for how the world and universe works A set of beliefs or morals that tells you how to live your life An explanation for the unexplainable And a few others that I didn’t think would be worth mentioning for the purpose of this. But really those two are the big ones that you would get from clergymen or individuals with a much more open mind, which are defiantly the only two who’s ideas I would want to talk philosophical aboutmy thoughts on religion

some thoughts about lifeWhat is the purpose of life? From a scientific perspective, sex. The entire point of the existence of any individual animal is to mate, then die. There are even some which die apon fulfilling their ultamite purpose of reproduction. But what is the point in this? For something to exist only to make more of itself which then only exists to make more of itself, where is the actual purpose? Is its purpose to exist without purpose? For a species to live as long as it can before dieing seems to be the purpose of its existence, but its existence itself achieves nothing. From a cosmic perspective, what is the difference betwn no life and lots of lifesome thoughts about life
